A minibus is a small bus with between 9 and 16 passenger seats. Anything with more than 16 passenger seats is classified as a coach. If you look in the V5 logbook for the vehicle, it will be classified as M2, which means it can’t be insured with standard car insurance alone. As it’s not deemed a van, then standard van insurance will also cover the vehicle.
